We spent the weekend along with some other fantastic Manx producers and suppliers at the #iomfoodfest at the Villa marina. Paul and David were available to chat to customers about the local produce we supply in our stores and to Shoprite stores all over the Island. Matty and his team at Paddy's had the lobster tank, which is always popular with the show's visitors. 

   

The Fishmarket brought along their Catering unit selling Paddy's 'Award winning' Smoked Salmon, lobster salads and chowders. 

 

We were also proud to sponsor the Children's tent along with The IOM Children's Centre - there was bread painting (& eating), Potato man/lady making, colouring, face painting, guess the weight of the veg, chickens and LOT'S of fun to entertain the younger visitors!

  

Robinson's have been proud to sponsor the Chef of the Year and Student Chef of the Year over the past few years, this year was no exception. Paul from Robinson's on the Terrace helped judge the cook off's on Sunday - Congratulations to Marcus Purcell from Noitre CAFE on seizing the title of Chef of the Year. It was exceptionally close - the judges had a very difficult decision to make! Well done to Sam Kelly from @dinedujour for coming a close second 0    

 

A fantastic weekend of delicious award winning smoked salmon, lobsters, Robinson's reward's club, our fabulous island' producers, hot dog eating competitions - what more can you ask for this weekend. We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!
