Bring a little sunshine to your day with these creamy homemade Orange Creamsicle Popsicles. Made with refreshing orange juice, creamy yoghurt or cream, a touch of sweetness and vanilla, they’re a deliciously nostalgic treat that’s easy to make and perfect for cooling down on a warm day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups 100% orange juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream/ full fat vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • ⅓ cup honey or sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Equipment:

  • Popsicle molds and wooden sticks
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk

Instructions

Combine the base:

In a bowl, whisk the cream or yogurt, sugar or honey, and vanilla until smooth and dissolved.

Incorporate the citrus:

Slowly pour the orange juice into the cream mixture, whisking continously. The liquid will turn a beautiful pastel orange colour.

Fill the molds:

Pour the mixture into the molds, leaving ¼ inch of space for expansion.

Insert the sticks:

Secure the lids and insert the sticks. If lidless, cover with foil and insert the sticks through it.

Freeze:

Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4 to 6 hours or ideally overnight until completely solid.

Unmold and Serve:

Run the molds under warm water for 10 seconds, then gently pull the sticks to release the popsicles. Enjoy immediately.
